My first real job was at The Nuyorican Poets Café, hired by Bob Holman, I was taking a poetry class with him at the New School, great first job. After that and during that I worked as an artist’s model at The Art Students League, NY Figurative School and Studio School. I took a few poetry workshops with eileen myles and operated zero space out of my storefront on east 4th st. learning while watching, listening. I was Tony Oursler's assistant from ‘98-01. I traveled extensively, had the awesome opportunity to interact with a wide range of art-workers. I helped start the Scope Art Show and Provided content, exhibiting, performing, and organizing for the first ten years of the the fair, Notably, Cheap Fast and Out of Control, Burn Before Reading and LaLa Pantzeroff.  Research projects have been in consciousness theory: shamanistic practice, dreaming & music. I collaborate with neuroscientist Dr. Sara Mednick on a post-anthropological study: Bandthropology. The study utilizes Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, Physiology, and Intuition and was featured on WNYC’s Soundcheck. Other collaborators include Matthew Bakkom, Craig Smith, Mitch Miller, Kristen Scheile, Carrie Dashow, Jeff Alan Wood, and Rachel Wohlander. I received my MFA  from Brooklyn College's, Performance and Interactive Media Program. My collaborative Thesis Project ProFailure was an immersive and interactive multi-location performance involving the concepts of accelerationism and cult culture. The first piece I showed in NY was a video, Big Tittly Courage, curated by David Leslie, part of Bob Flannagan’s Visiting Hours at the New Museum. My Hebrew School Pin-ups have been shown nationally in galleries and museums, part of Will Boys Be Boys, Curated by Shamim Momin, and in The New Authentics, curated by Staci Boris. Group shows curated by Christine Kim, David Hunt, Lisa Kirk, Andrea Salerno and Mari Spirito.  Awards include the Ittleman Directing Award at Bard, an EAF from Socrates, an LMCC residency, & 2 special project grants through Socrates from NYSCA. I have showcased at SxSW with my father as Brute Force and Daughter of Force, and shown video in the SXSW Midnight Shorts program. I live in upstate New york at Wandwood  stream,  publishing small books and editions, and playing music with family and friends.
